This game show was designed based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Who Wants to be a Millionaire lifelines

These are features that assist the participant(s) in getting answers correctly.

1. 50:50

The computer will randomly eliminate two wrong options, leaving two options. One option is the right one and the other is wrong.

2. Phone a Friend

The contestant will be allowed to call one of five prearranged friends. Note that the five phone numbers must have been submitted before the program starts.

The contestant has 30 seconds to read the question and options to the friend at the other end, and must also receive a response within this period.

3. Ask the Host

The contestant is allowed to directly ask the host his view on the question.

4. Ask the Audience

The contestant is allowed to ask the audience to give him/her the correct answer to a question. The audience will vote via a poll, and the contestant can select the answer with the highest vote.

However, this lifeline has been discontinued. The audience lifeline requires multiple people to be in the same room, and this is no longer a possible thing due to Covid-19.

However, the first 3 lifelines are still available in the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire TV show.

1. To participate in the audition, send your name, location and phone number to 33854.

2. To compete for the hot seat, send your name and location to 132 through an MTN number.

An SMS fee of ₦100 will be charged.

WWTBAM Home Quiz

Non-participants can answer the weekly quiz from their homes without registering. You just have to answer the home quiz by simply sending the answer to 230. You must also use any MTN number for this.

An SMS fee of ₦100 also applies.
